Employment Law Advice for Individuals

Providing advice on employment law rights and responsibilities to individuals.

Are you being treated fairly at work?

If for any reason you don’t think you are, please telephone us to discuss why.  You will only speak to one of our qualified solicitors in confidence about your circumstances and we will advise you of the best course of action.

Not all cases end up in tribunal, in fact, only a very small percentage do.  We believe in resolution and dealing with matters in the shortest timescale possible and in the most cost effective manner.  We aim to achieve amicable resolutions and take the stress out of you pursuing your employment rights.

We can advise on all aspects of employment law including:

  • Discrimination
  • Redundancy
  • Disciplinary proceedings and grievances
  • Bullying and harassment
  • Negotiating your contractual terms or terms of your Service Agreement
  • Advising on the terms of your Settlement Agreement
  • Family friendly rights such as maternity, paternity and adoption leave
  • Restrictive Covenants
  • Employment Tribunals

Have you been offered a settlement agreement?

We can help! If you have been involved in a dispute with your employer or have been made redundant they may have offered you a Settlement Agreement to end your employment in exchange for compensation or other benefits.

When offered this Agreement, in order for it to be legally binding, you need to receive legal advice from either a Solicitor or a trade union representative. The cost of this advice is usually met in full by your employer who is directly invoiced for the fees.

We would be delighted to assist you with your Settlement Agreement and would be happy to represent you in negotiations with your employer about the terms of your Settlement Agreement, including the amount of financial compensation you will achieve.
